Todd McLay visit 18.10.10

Today Ngakuru Primary School were very lucky because we had a visit from the local national MP - Todd McLay.  The children were able to ask him lots of questions.  These are the questions they asked: What are some of the hardest things you do for the community? What are some of the favourite things you do for the community? How do you help us in our education? What qualifications do you need to be an MP for Rotorua? Why did you choose to be an MP for Rotorua? Is there anything you want to do for the community? What does your working week consist of? How many hours a week do you work? What do you do in your spare time? How do you find out what your community wants?

He was very good to listen to and the children enjoyed hearing what he had to say! The childrens thoughts and comments will be up soon so watch this space!

  1. To the students of Ngakuru School and Room 4,

Thank you for letting me visit you on Monday. I enjoyed seeing your great school and talking about my job as your local MP.

The questions that you asked me were very good questions, and I enjoyed our discussions about your recent Ag Day.

Keep up the good work and I hope to visit again soon.
