This term we had an art competition. The art was linked in with our inquiry topic - Globalisation. The children had to paint a world that is different to ours and describe in a paragraph how it is different to ours. W.A.L.T: Think of an imaginary place that is different to our world, compare and contrast our "imaginary" place to our "real" world.
Our teacher aide (Mrs Austin) had the job of judging 1st, 2nd and 3rd between the Year 6-8 students and then the year 4 and 5 students. These are the following winners:
Year 6-8 students:
1st - Sarah
2nd - Cameron
3rd - Joshua
Year 4 and 5 students:
1st - Thomas
2nd - Benjamin
3rd - Dylan
